The clarification of the Azzurri’s matches on the sidelines of the presentation of his three-year timetable
“The dialogue with Forza Italia continues but I think it is right to reward those who have supported me from the beginning. These are the words of mayoral candidate Massimiliano Grasso who today presented his timetable in the event that he wins the run-off with the dem Marco Piendibene.
The exponent of the local centre-right did not close the door to the Azzurri, on the contrary he spoke of “mutual harmony between us, the moderate area, and with Poletti in particular. But we didn’t want to proceed with the formal agreement because this would cut off part of the team that has supported me from the beginning.”
At the center-right candidate’s electoral headquarters, he wanted to explain his three-year timetable for the works, that is, a sort of what to do, how and when.
“The timing is associated with funding and projects that are certain to be implemented – explained Grasso – starting from the assumption that it is a three-year plan based on the small/large and the near/far. One of the immediate objectives is the unblocking of the 130 hectares on which the new port will be built to make it the logistics hub while the city will equip itself with an outlet to the airport. Spas, civic uses and markets are the priorities for 2024, as well as urban decoration and the streets of Borgata Aurelia and Borgo Odescalchi”.
In 2025 Grasso is focusing on sports facilities, with the completion of the renovation of the Fattori stadium and the inauguration of the new PalaGrammatico, the new agreement with Enel and the start of the energy community, the review of separate waste collection “moving to the punctual tariff” .
Finally, in 2026 the macro areas were identified as the smart city, in the removal of architectural barriers and in the renovation of the former Italcementi, “which should become a hotel hub”.
Lastly, Grasso specified that the delegations will not be assigned to sectors “but to projects, which also serves to make the offices work better”.
The electoral campaign closed on Friday in Piazza Fratti.
