REGGIO EMILIA – The prognosis remains reserved, but his condition has improved over the last few hours. Comforting news arrives from the Maggiore hospital in Parma on the 12-year-old who was injured in the accident that occurred yesterday evening just before 8.30 pm along Via Emilia in Cella, at the intersection with Via Goya.
The boy was traveling on an electric scooter driven by his 20-year-old sister. The family, of foreign origin, lives in the area. The vehicle had been hit by a small car: a violent impact that had thrown the two occupants onto the asphalt. The girl was transported by ambulance to Santa Maria Nuova: she spent the night hospitalized, as the hours passed her condition improved, her clinical picture was not worrying. For his brother, however, it was necessary to be transferred by 118 helicopter to Parma.
The driver of the Renault that caused the accident was in shock, but without physical consequences: the vehicle was damaged with the windshield smashed. The dynamics of the incident remain to be clarified: investigations carried out by the local police of Reggio who intervened on site.
