A representative participated in the charity quadrangular “In Goal with the Heart”, promoted by the prefecture
The proceeds from the football quadrangular “In Goal with the Heart”, a charity event in memory of the sports director Aldo, will contribute to the purchase of 8 of the 25 defibrillators which, as part of the “Ferrara cardioprotected city” project, will be located throughout the municipal area. Corallini who last Saturday saw the prefectural national team on the pitch in the Estense capital.
The team played the tournament against the representatives of AVIS, the “Atleti Donalimpici”, which later won; of the Contrade del Palio of Ferrara, the “Palio Foundation”, and of the voluntary organization “Associazione Giulia”, the “Giulia Team”. ”, with the participation of representatives of the police forces and local administrators.
The quadrangular event, sponsored by the prefecture, province and municipality of Ferrara, by the chamber of commerce of Ferrara and Ravenna, by CONI and by the Italian Footballers’ Association, in collaboration with the SPAL club, was promoted by the prefect of Ferrara Massimo Marchesiello.
The initiative attracted a large audience to the Paolo Mazza stadium in Ferrara, both for its altruistic purpose and for its sporting and inclusive spirit, as the prefect observed, underlining how, with its participation, the Ferrara community has once again demonstrated turns its commitment to initiatives that combine sport with solidarity.
Former athletes and professional footballers also participated in the competition, divided into two semi-finals and a final, with matches lasting 30 minutes each. In parallel with the quadrangular, a youth tournament was held with the “chicks” of Spal, Dribbling, Pontelagoscuro and Acli San Luca San Giorgio, and a parade of the historic Palio of Ferrara.
