Pa(E)(S)Essaysthe collective exhibition curated by Alessandra Trabucchi, which collects the works of Carla Fusi, Viviana Natalini, Emy Petrini, Arianna Picerni and Cristina Sammarco opens on Sunday (23 June) at 6pm at Exhibition Palace of the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation (in Piazza San Martino 7). The exhibition project is created in collaboration with the Lucca Sviluppo Foundation and continues with free entry until July 28th.
An all-female collectivewhich sees five artists united by a lucid and original look at time and landscape, also seen as a moment of transition: from one environment (geographical and otherwise) to another, from one person to another, which gives rise to a multi-voiced expository narration.
Each of the artists, with a different technique, with their own vision of the natural and interior landscape, reads contemporaneity in a completely personal way. Particular attention is given in the exhibition to the creative process that characterizes the works: collage with sandpaper (Sammarco), the use of plant materials (Petrini), ceramic sculpture (Natalini), painting (Picerni) and engraving (Fusi). A sensorial and dynamic journey is thus created, accompanied by moments of reflection on the state of the art today, read from the point of view of the artists.
The exhibition, which will remain open to the public with free admission until 28 July, can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 4pm to 7pm.
