Giovanni Vernia returns to Italian stages with the new show “Capa Fresca”
Those who “keep a cool head” have their head free from tiring and worrying thoughts, and are always ready to look at the funny part in everything that happens. Every occasion is a good one for him to have fun and lighten things up. Giovanni is like this, he has always been like this. His father, of Apulian origins, always told him: “Giovà, you keep your head cool.” And so, every flaw in this country is shaped in Giovanni’s hands and becomes an incredibly excuse for laughing: from healthcare, experienced firsthand following a broken foot, to social hatred, to TV, to the latest fads of Italians in terms of sports, leisure, musical tastes, and the most popular characters. A new show full of irony, satire of customs, parodies, imitations, music and energy, never vulgar, all ingredients to which the multifaceted artist has already accustomed us both in previous shows and every day in his radio show.
