“Filed there first legislative proposal for the Active Citizenship Service and Culture and Social Cohesion (SCACCO.)“.
It is the first bill presented in the twelfth legislature, the first signature of the regional councilors of the Democratic Party Piero Lacorazza, Roberto Cifarelli, Piero Marrese to which were added the support of the Councilor Antonio Bochicchio and the Councilor Grammichele Vizziello.
Councilors Lacorazza, Cifarelli and Marrese declared:
“As we promised, our role as a minority would not limit us in building our idea of Basilicata.
And while President Bardi accumulates delays for the formation of the Council by tearing up a clear article of the Statute – the appointment should have taken place by 2 June -, we begin to do, to propose, immediately giving work to the Commissions which obviously will not be able to meet yet because the Regional Council is not fully functional.
We have chosen to dedicate our first proposal to the new generations and to the world of the third sector by establishing a regional civil service that invests in the contribution that young people can give to the community by receiving support and opportunities in the use of cultural products and training courses.
A different way to think about the new generations and in particular the provision presented in Parliament by the League on the reintroduction of military service.
We hope that the legislative process will be enriched by hearings of potential interested parties, from student representatives to the Third Sector Forum, from CSVs to the offices responsible for managing the National Unisco Third Sector Register.
We believe the participation and ideas of fellow councilors are relevant so that the measure can be, at the end of the process, approved unanimously by the Regional Council.
