After careful investigations carried out by the soldiers of the local Carabinieri station in Trani two men aged 24 and 30 ended up in handcuffs for stabbing one of their peers. A phone call to 112 from the emergency room operators of the Trani hospital because a boy presented numerous stab wounds; This is how the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri began – under the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Trani – which allowed the alleged perpetrators to be identified violent assault, two friends of the victim. According to the investigative reconstruction, the unfortunate – of Trani origins – he had left home at 04:00 to meet his parents friends who were waiting for him punish him of a wrong, which would have arisen in the context of the management of affairs connected to the dealing of narcotic substances.

After having it hit repeatedly with a stick and injured with a knife, the two attackers fled in a car, leaving the victim lying on the ground and bleeding. The latter managed to contact the emergency services and he was urgently transported to the local emergency room where he was immediately treated. The examination of the victim, his family members and witnesses as well as the results of the investigations made it possible to collect useful elements for the reconstruction of the dynamics and origin of the facts. The two attackers were arrested in execution of a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the GIP of the Court of Trani for the crimes of attempted murder – in competition – e carrying weapons or objects capable of offending.

It should be noted that the proceeding is in the preliminary investigation phase and that the arrests will be followed by the warrant interrogation and the confrontation with the defense of the suspects, whose possible guilt – in relation to the alleged crimes – must be ascertained during the trial in cross-examination between the parties.
