The workers of IMR – Industrialesud Spa of Teramo, gathered in a meeting on the 14th
June 2024, they discussed the company situation, characterized by
continuation of the operations to transfer work to other sites
productive.
Workers have expressed strong discomfort and concern in light of the
dismantling of equipment for the “Boutique” department (saddlery) work but
also molds for processing in the other lines.
Workers also negatively evaluate the exclusion of trade union representatives
of Teramo by the table convened on 6 June 2024, following the status of
agitation proclaimed in the other sites due to problems regarding the construction
of industrial reconversion plans.
The Workers’ Assembly demands:
– The immediate blocking of all processing transfer operations e
of the related equipment at the other sites;
– The immediate activation of all institutional initiatives necessary for protection
of the productive and professional heritage of the Teramo site;
– Verification of the industrial plan discussed at the regional level and verification of the plans
implemented in the other sites that have received funding from the Ministry
former MISE;
– The stabilization of temporary workers as a condition of
guarantee for the production and employment stability of the Teramo site
On the basis of the above, the workers gathered in the meeting confer
sent as of now to the RSU and the Union Secretariats for the proclamation of the state
of agitation, divided according to the following methods:
– Strike for overtime and any form of additional work;
– 24 hour strike package with mandate to activate abstention from work on
basis of the requests mentioned above.
The RSU and the union secretariats have already taken action to request the urgent meeting
of the Table at the Abruzzo Region as a precondition for requesting the
convocation of all parties involved at the Ministry of Business and Made in
Italy.
The Trade Unions and the RSU reserve further initiatives, with the activation of the actions of
protest, based on the developments of the dispute. This is what Giampiero Dozzi of the CGIL and Emidio Angelini of the Ugl denounce.
