Bergamo: For Musso there are polls from abroad, but selling him would create a problem to be solved

According to the rumors circulating, the goalkeeper of the Goddess Juan Musso he would be in the sights of Villarreal and Newcastle. There is talk of interest, there would still be no negotiations or discussions started, but the issue turns the spotlight on a position that has already caused a lot of discussion since last season.

With Carnesecchi (born in 2000) who represents medium-long term security, Musso lost ownership in the league, but remained the cup goalkeeper with whom Atalanta won the Europa League until the end.

The Argentine’s performances were very positive and the season is comparable to that of Carnesecchi: Atalanta has two very good goalkeepers and it showed in the 56 matches that characterized the season. Now the point is simple: does it make sense to deprive yourself of Musso to go and look for a second, more “comfortable” goalkeeper for Carnesecchi’s future? Is continuing with two players who can compete for the starting shirt right, also in light of the results obtained? With the Champions League in the middle, Gasperini will you continue to alternate them?

So many important questions and no simple answers. If Musso were to leave, a new “second” should arrive in Bergamo who is capable, if necessary, of going onto the pitch in Barcelona (for example) without his legs shaking and giving maximum guarantees. The Argentine, mainly last season, but not only this one, has already done it.

To date, there have been no requests for the company to leave and therefore the problem does not arise for the moment. Atalanta works on the market to strengthen itself, so even in goal the evaluations will be precise and punctual. As always.
