CASERTA – “The municipal machine can no longer be governed by those who condemned it to disaster, let’s go back to urns as soon as possible”. This was stated by Maurizio Del Rosso, municipal councilor of the League in Caserta, opposition in a municipal council in which the majority is from the Democratic Party, after the investigation involving representatives of the municipal administration.

Del Rosso attacks the centre-left forces that supported the PD mayor Carlo Marino, including the Five Star Movement, which also included the environment councilor Carmela Mucherino, who resigned, and the Caserta Decide movement, which today in a note he asked to reset the Council and to the rest of the majority not to vote on the budget on June 18th and 19th.

“We cannot forget the choices made during the electoral campaign, to those who wanted to provide their support”, is Del Rosso’s comment. “Caserta Decide no longer even deceives the electorate. I believe it is not fair to the city that they declare that they love and serve. The time has come to restore dignity to this city.”
