Great to see my old teammates again and I’m happy to be here. I spent the best years in Padua, where I gained the greatest satisfactions of my career by bringing the team back to Serie A together with this group after 32 years. I saw that there was a major renovation of the Appiani, it was worse when we were there (laughs ed.). Our group was a family and I’m happy to see each other again on an occasion like this. Padova in C? It’s not nice, because this square deserves other shores. These are years in which there is difficulty between B and C, sometimes a bit of bad luck in the playoffs. I hope sooner or later we can find the common thread to bring Padova back to Serie A. On the one hand I would be sorry, because we are still the heroes of the top flight, on the other hand the years pass and it is right that the city has a team suited to its level. What do I do today? I had tried a career as a coach, but now I have a football club called “France Sport”. We have 180 members and I decided to work with young people. I feel good, even if I do a bit of everything.”
