Think about a Sunday in mid-June Sicily and the mind can only go to sunny beaches, sultry heat and high temperatures. However, this year isn’t going that way at all: summer isn’t taking off, in fact, it doesn’t seem to want to arrive at all. Many people, unlike previous years, have not yet been able to go to the seaside. And today in Sicily was also a day of bad weatherwith dark skies, pleasant temperatures and even scattered rain in the afternoon and evening between Palermo, Trapani, Agrigento And Caltanissettain the internal areas of the western sectors of the island.
As we can see from the map accompanying the article, there were no storms or heavy rains but in a very large area between the Sicani mountains, the Channel of Sicily and the hinterland of Palermo, have fallen 2–3mm rain. Rain also on the coast of Trapani and Agrigento, along the Strait of Sicily.
