Coldiretti Calabria confirmed the mobilization in Cosenza against the uncontrolled proliferation of wild boars and wildlife, despite recent positive interactions with regional politics. The meeting with the president Roberto Occhiuto and the councilor for Agriculture Gianluca Gallo led to the adoption of a commitment resolution for an Extraordinary Plan for the containment of wildlife, expected within 90 days.

Franco Aceto underlines the importance of the first step represented by the resolution, but insists on the need for concrete and rapid actions to drastically reduce the number of wild boars on Calabrian farms and inhabited centers. «We want – continues the number one of Coldiretti Calabria in view of the Cosenza event – to lead to a drastic reduction in the number of wild boars on farms in a reasonably short time.
