Leccese in San Girolamo with Antonio Decaro
This morning, Vito Leccese went to the San Girolamo waterfront for a walk among the bathers in the company of the outgoing mayor Antonio Decaro, newly elected to the European Parliamentand of the presidential candidate for Municipality III, Luisa Verdosciaalso involved in the run-off.
«We are inviting citizens to go back to vote so that they can participate in the growth process of the city, starting from a given, namely from continuity with the good administration of Antonio Decaro“, says Vito Leccese, underlining how “our political-administrative proposal is precisely there in continuity with the current experience of city governmentlooking at what can be improved and innovated.”
Leccese announces that, in the event of election, «we will start immediately by addressing new emergenciesfrom the daily maintenance of the city to the problem felt by many people of Bari regarding housing, an increasingly alarming situation aggravated by the wicked decision of the government of Meloni and Salvini to cancel the housing contribution, putting many families in difficulty economically”.

Fabio Romito was also in San Girolamo, between Canalone and Lido San Francesco. «We want to represent an alternative for Barichange, discontinuity”, he said when meeting journalists after the tour among the bathers.
«It is important to go and vote», underlined the centre-right mayoral candidate, because «in the second round it will be a free vote, a disinterested vote, even a protest vote. Anyone who was induced to vote for some candidate for the City Council or for some outgoing councilor in the first round will finally be able to vote freely and without any type of conditioning in the second round. We believe it and we are here to fight a battle for freedom. There is no left and right. There is the system and there are the free people of Bari.”
In the next few days the ministers of the Meloni government will arrive in the city to support Romito: «They will come for offer the city concrete prospects to make us understand how important it is to have a direct relationship with the Government.”
Tomorrow, Romito finally announced, «I will hold a press conference in which I will announce an important initiative in the context of active labor policies that we will be able to carry forward to erase the era of recommendations and finally give the city a season of merit and opportunities for all our kids, for all our young people.”
