CARNAGO – The first sectional meeting of the Varese Alpine troops took place this morning. The Varese section ofNational Alpine Association in fact, he organized a local rally in Carnago, which was also attended by dozens of Mayors wearing the tricolor band, the Prefect Rosario Pasquariello and the MEP Isabella Tovaglieri.
The Varese section, led by the President Franco Montaltowanted to organize this initiative – “especially for our “older ones”as Montalto himself declared, with the aim of making them still feel participants in the associative life of the ANA, despite the ailments of age preventing them from attending the national meeting (the last one took place last month in Vicenza, ed.).

The ANA section of Varese has 77 local groups and more than 3000 Alpine members, who dedicate themselves not only to keeping alive the traditions of the glorious Alpine corps, but also dedicate themselves to many local charitable initiatives, such as participation in the collection days promoted from the Food Bank for example.
