The Augustus Holiday Festival returns to Bene Vagienna (Cuneo).

WEDGE – From 5 to 13 July the Ferie di Augusto Theater Festival returns to Cuneo. The theatrical review will take place in Bene Vagienna, in the setting of the archaeological site of the ancient Roman theatre.

Organized by Gian Mesturino and Germana Erba with the municipal administration of Bene Vagienna, through an agreement with the Teatro Stabile Privato Torino Spettacoli, the festival includes the staging of three titles.

The July 5th the summer gala of the performing arts of Germana Erba’s Talents with over 100 singers-dancers-actors-musical performers.

The July 6 ‘Good or bad? Points of view’: “Two protagonists of the Italian theater scene – explain the organizers – Franco Oppini and Miriam Mesturino, flanked by Gino Auriuso who also directs, take turns, intersect, double each other in a tracking shot that scans the theater and the literature of all times in search of the eternal contrast between good and evil”.

Saturday 13 In July, the Commedia delle 3Drachmas, Plautus’ comic masterpiece with its original title, will be performed Trinummus, edited by Gian Mesturino and Girolamo Angione, directed by Girolamo Angione and Elia Tedesco. There Comedy of the 3 Drachmas tells the story of a young spendthrift who is saved, through a benevolent deception, by an old friend of his father and by the inevitable “Plautine servant” parasite.

In case of rain the shows will be held indoors.

Tickets: single seat 13 euros, reduced (und 26, ov60, groups, affiliated members and Torino Spettacoli season ticket holders) 10 euros. Option of two shows of your choice for 18 euros.
