CIVITAVECCHIA – A long-awaited visit, which will allow us to take stock of future projects and consolidate the link between Massimiliano Grasso and the regional leaders.
Tomorrow, Monday 17 June, the president of the Lazio region Francesco Rocca is expected in Civitavecchia to support the mayoral candidate in view of the run-off.
The appointment is set for 8.30pm when Rocca will join Grasso at the five-a-side football pitches in via Giulio Cerruti in the San Liborio district after having participated in the inauguration of the Vinòforum, the event that since 2004 has made Rome the spokesperson for great wine excellence and Italian gastronomic events, which will be held for the first time at the Circus Maximus. From 17 to 23 June the general public will be able to get closer to quality productions through tastings, thematic focuses and moments dedicated to haute cuisine and culinary traditions. Immediately afterwards the president of the region gladly accepted the invitation and will take part in one of the meetings with the citizens that the mayoral candidate has scheduled from tomorrow to Thursday in the squares and neighborhoods of Civitavecchia.
Rocca will have the opportunity to experience the reality of Civitavecchia first-hand, to speak with voters and listen closely to the ideas and proposals of the community. A great sign of closeness from the region which, in the event of Grasso’s election, will be very close to the municipal administration for the next five years.
