Neapolitans love design and technological experimentation, with an increased interest in sustainability: this is the common thread of the opening organized by Visual Communication, next Tuesday, June 18th (6.30pm in Via Partenope), where the designer Joshua Hippolytus, inaugurates a new space dedicated to interior design, planning, and the evolution of daily habits through virtual reality and artificial intelligence. “At the center of the evolution of interior design – notes a note from the organizers – there are comfort, energy saving and respect for the environment. Hence the concept of ‘smart home’, become increasingly popular, with growing interest in advanced lighting systems, smart thermostats and home security devices.” Technology is therefore at the center of the transformation of homes in recent years. The virtual one gives the possibility to create a 3D experience through the use of a viewer connected to your computer or smartphone. The project is displayed realistically just as if it were already built. During the meeting you will be able to experience it live. “Artificial intelligence instead allows us to create atmospheric images and explore the world of colors” it is further stated. A design laboratory where “Neapolitan creativity stands out and virtual reality is applied to the home project, and furniture is shaped in realistic settings, where every detail is not random, but a chosen product that corresponds to a purchasable item”. Thus a space was born “where we can logistically help those who have to design their dream home, and with the virtual one, these projects truly become a reality”. “This is the second interior design space after Pozzuoli – explains Ippolito – which consolidates an important company founded in 1979 and started by my father Gennaro. I grew up in the Neapolitan artistic world: my grandfather Giosuè, actor and theater manager, had the merit of bringing Totó back to Naples, and the director Ciro Ippolito is my uncle”.
