Palermo, 118 pilot dies in taxi after cardiac checks

PALERMO – A pilot of the 118 helicopter rescue service, Giampaolo Abeltino, 57 years old, on duty in Palermo has died while he was in a taxi in via Dante. He had just been discharged from the Turin clinic after being hospitalized for some cardiac checks.






Sardinian origins

Twice in the cardiology department of the Ingrassia hospital in the past two weeks had been checked.
