It was certainly a very particular season that he experienced Bari last year, which saw the Apulian team remain in Serie B only thanks to the victory in the playouts which condemned Ternana to relegation to Serie C. A particular season also for the Juventus bench, with the club finding itself with four coaches on its payroll: the 2023-24 championship, in fact, began with Michele Mignani, sacked on 9 October 2023, and ended with Federico Giampaolo, appointed riding on April 15th. In the middle Pasquale Marino, then released on 5 February 2024, and Giuseppe Iachini, also exoneratedbut in April, on the day of Giampaolo’s appointment.
However, now, at least according to what Sky Sport reports, Iachini’s contract could be terminated, thus lightening the future wage bill. But also the coffers of Luigi De Laurentiis’ club, given that the same, to get rid of the contract also valid for the next season, he will pay the penalty provided for by the same; in any case, from 1 July Iachini will be free, Bari with one less coach among their salaries.
Let us remember in the meantime that the club itself has chosen Moreno Longo for the technical guidance of the first team for next year; final details to be sorted out, but there is optimism for the positive outcome of the negotiation.
