The summer that is about to begin is full of commitments and events of great interest to the Trentino public City of Trento Musical Corps. The first appointment will be Wednesday 19 June from 7.00 pm in Piazza Cesare Battisti in Trento, with the Inaugural Concert of “Fiori al Centro”, where the band will give a musical moment to celebrate the opening of the initiative. At the opening of the concert, organized with the support of the Municipality of Trento on the initiative of “Trento Aperta – happy people”, there will also be a performance by the Bandina of the City of Trento musical body, directed by Maestro Sergio Rolfi.
The second appointment concerns the Christmas Eve celebrationsespecially the Opening procession on Friday 21 June from 8.00 pm and the ensemble concert with the bands of the Municipality of Trento Sunday 23 June at 9.30 pm in Piazza Fiera in Trento. “We care a lot about this latest initiative as we are very proud to be able to tread this prestigious stage and bring over 130 musicians to give music and culture to the whole city”, explains the President of the City of Trento Musical Corps, Antonio Divan.
The third appointment instead concerns the folkloristic and social aspect of the band. From 7pm to 9pmMonday 24th and Tuesday 25th June (June 25th to be confirmed), at the Ciusi and Gobj bivouac, a group of bandsmen will liven up the dinner with folk music in perfect Bavarian Oktoberfest style, in an initiative organized in collaboration with the Proloco Historic Center of Trento.
Finally the last event in the city will be Friday 5 July 9.15pm on the occasion of Upside Down Theatre. The City of Trento Musical Corps aims to replicate the great success of last December 8th with a concert together with the D.LAB dance school, in which music and dance will merge into a unique show. The initiative organized with the support of the Municipality of Trento and the Santa Chiara Cultural Services Center and included in the “Teatro capovolto 2024” program
