“The gradual rise of an anticyclonic promontory of African origin over the Mediterranean basin will bring sunnier conditions to Piedmont for today’s afternoon and the next few days, with local afternoon instability phenomena mostly limited to the Alpine areas. The expansion of high pressure will determine a progressive increase in the freezing level and temperatures, in particular in the maximum values, returning to values in line with the average of the period“: these are the forecast regional, as reported in the bulletin of Harp Piedmont.
According to the regional Arpa weather forecast, in Piedmont Tomorrow generally clear or slightly cloudy skies are expected due to passing clouds; development of cumulus clouds on the Alpine mountains towards midday, moving towards the plains in the afternoon and dissolving in the evening. Weak showers scattered close to the mountains in the afternoon hours. Thermal zero increasing up to 4000-4200 meters. Temperatures minimums stationary, maximums rising. Winds weak locally moderate in the mountains, on the Alps from the west rotating from the southwest from the afternoon, on the Apennines from the southern quadrants; in the plains generally calm or weak variables.
