The Fiat Campagnola and the Lancia Aprilia Sedan of the Army crossed the finish line of the 1000 Miglia 2024, parading among the other vintage cars present in Brescia.
Crossing the finish line in Brescia was the Army Chief of Staff, General Carmine Masiello, who at the wheel of the Fiat Campagnola, together with Beppe Boni, completed the race started by Biagio Marsiglia, Matteo Valenti, Beppe De Marco, Benedetta Rinaldi, Beatrice Bortolin, Alessandro Tallarida and Claudia Conte.

The two icons of the past relished the charm of the historic car race which has crossed the most evocative landscapes of Italy since 1927.

The “Campagnola” and the Lancia Aprilia, two examples of unparalleled beauty and value, were the protagonists of the 42nd edition of the competition, earning the admiration of the public at every stage.

The cars were driven by a crew of two Army Graduate Adjutants who shared this moment with representatives of the world of journalism.
A journey through time of over 2,000 km which allowed the Army to enhance its historical heritage, bringing the automotive tradition of the Armed Forces around Italy, usually kept at the Historical Museum of Military Motorization located within the “City Militare Cecchignola” where it is possible to admire around 300 examples of Italian military vehicles of various types.​
