The duo, with an unmistakable hard-pop sound, composed of Mario Francese and Alessandro De Santis, which received excellent feedback thanks to the song competing at the last Sanremo Festival, “LOVE IN THE MOUTH”, they will enrich the programme, organized by the festival from GoMad Concerti, and Puntoeacapo Concerti with the collaboration of Municipality of Bagheriawhich will be held on August 2nd at Small Urban Park of Bagheria
THE FRENCH SAINTS they gave a taste of their live talent during the intimate showcases that enchanted the audience in two deconsecrated churches in Milan and Naples (events sold out in a few minutes).
“LOVE IN THE MOUTH”presented at the 74th edition of the Italian Song Festival, is a song that was born from a fortunate writing error in ‘l’amaro in corsa’.
“We were fascinated by that expression which then remained in a drawer for a few months” they told FRENCH SAINTS. “During a session with Cecilia Del Bono, with whom we were working for the first time, we found ourselves reopening that drawer and writing “LOVE IN BOCCA” in one afternoon. The piece is a small mystery, a collection of slides, moments and suggestions without a goal or precise direction that revolve around that image. Romantic and sensual at the same time, “love in the mouth” is the expression around which we and Cecilia have told moments of our respective private lives, without indulging in too many explanations, and that is why the nature of this song remains hidden, buried under layers of allegory, even from ourselves. It’s fascinating not knowing, never telling ourselves what we really meant, who we were addressing those words toAnd”.
