The policemen of the Borgo Ognina police station arrested a 41-year-old woman for drug dealing. The personnel on duty to control the territory were sent from the operations center in via Modigliani at the request of a user who had called 112 reporting that he had just suffered a robbery by two people unknown to him, while he was walking in the street with his partner.
On this occasion, the robbers attacked him and stole a pouch with money and personal documents inside. The police, who arrived on site, while collecting the man’s report, noticed that his partner was particularly nervous and impatient with the presence of the officers; furthermore, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from her bag and therefore proceeded to search it.
Inside the bag the police found several bags of narcotic substances such as marijuana, hashish, cocaine, around 30 bottles of methadone, as well as the sum of 640 euros, the origin of which he could not explain, as she was unemployed.
For these reasons, the police arrested the woman for drug dealing and seized the substance and the money, proceeds from the drug dealing activity. Investigations are underway to ascertain the exact course of events with particular regard to the robbery.
