The 5-a-side football bracket in Gela has been definitively closed, with the entrepreneur Maurizio Melfa having decided not to pursue the project any longer after the relegation from Serie B, the athletes, now former Biancazzurri, are finding new arrangements for next season.
Enzo Fecondo(in the picture), is the new coach of Akragas who will be at the starting line of the C1 championship: an ambitious project that aims to reach Serie B within a couple of years, with the coach eager for redemption after the bitter disappointment of last year. In the squad they will have another protagonist of the historic ride from C2 to B in Gela, namely the pivot Croci Di Bartolo, who continues to be a big player for C1, further demonstration by the Society of the Temples of wanting to dream big after the last few seasons subdued.
