The story
The victim, a 70-year-old disabled man from Lenola, is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis in the Terracina hospital, while his tormentor has been reported on the loose. She is a 25-year-old unemployed woman originally from Fondi. During the last raid on the elderly man’s house she forced the front door, joined him in the bedroom and, after attacking him, forced him to follow her to an ATM. At that point, having forcefully taken possession of the card and its pin code, the 25-year-old withdrew 50 euros. A modest sum, but not the only money raided: she had in fact removed a thousand euros in cash from the house. The pension money, kept under the mattress, to which a smartphone was added.
On the sidelines of the alarm, the girl was tracked down by the Carabinieri coordinated by Commander Biagio Di Iorio, who, after reconstructing the central phases of the story, simultaneously released her. During the first raid on the victim’s home, a few days before Christmas, the 25-year-old at least had not used violence: she had robbed him of 700 euros, four cell phones and some groceries, taking advantage of the fact that he was asleep due to taking psychotropic drugs.
