Now it’s official, Charles De Ketealere can be considered to all intents and purposes a player of theAtalanta. The Orobic club yesterday officially announced that it had exercised the right of redemption provided for in the agreements with Milan. Below is the press release.

“Atalanta BC is pleased to announce that the right to Charles De Ketelaere’s sporting performances is entirely owned by the Nerazzurri Club.
In the 2023/24 season the Belgian striker fully met expectations, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 goal assists in the 50 matches played with Atalanta in all competitions (Serie A TIM, UEFA Europa League and Coppa Italia Frecciarossa ).
The Percassi family, the Pagliuca family and the entire Club are pleased with Charles’ stay at the Nerazzurri and wish him the best satisfaction – both personally and as a team – in the continuation of his sporting career in Bergamo.”

The redemption of CdK costs Atalanta around 22 million euros, more than two bonuses plus 10 percent of any future resale that will be due to Milan: the Belgian striker signed with Goddess a contract until 2027.
