Ferrara, 16 June 2024 – The two-time world rally champion is also in the square Miki Biasion. He was also among the excellent participants. The stage of Ferrara from the ‘Mille Miglia – Cesare Borsetti Memorial’was organized by the communication agency Studio Borsetti of Ferrara, with the patronage of the Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce of Ferrara and Ravenna.
A particular applause was dedicated to the arrival of the Lancia berlinetta Pininfarina driven by Miki Biasion, former rally driver, twice world champion in 1988 and 1989, and Savina Confaloni. The multiple champion greeted the public: “A great emotion to be here in Ferrara, an unmissable stop”. Some curiosities of the event: among the 421 historic cars participating, 90 had the ‘double’ number, the official one and the other original of the first One thousand miles in the period between 1927-1957, then the passage of the spider which was driven by Tazio Nuvolari in 1927.
The arrival in the square of the historic 600 Multipla known as ‘Mister Croccantino’ driven by Giuseppe Zionione of the participants in the for 35 years ‘One thousand miles’, who met Nicola Borsetti, giving him a book in memory of Cesare Borsetti, historic organizer of the event in Ferrara. Among the cars that passed through Ferrara, there was also that of Finance. Also in the square are two historic Carabinieri cars, with drivers in uniform from times gone by. The passage of the forty-second historical re-enactment of the Mille Miglia was curated by Nicola Borsettipromoter and organizer of the event dedicated to his father Cesare: “It is always a great emotion to see the passage of these legendary cars which have a unique charm in the world.”
