“Yet Palestine – continues the note from Handala Ali Cultural Center – resists Israel’s brutal colonial violence openly supported by the connivance of the United States and too many governments including the Italian one: a very serious responsibility in the face of history. The indictment of the International Court of Justice and the injunction to immediately stop the fire were not enough to stop the crimes of Israel which indeed continues to kill in the West Bank through the army and settlers (killed since 7 October 500 Palestinians and 8800 arrested) which even in the territories of ’48 further increased repression. However, the solidarity of the people, the active boycott of those companies and those governments that support the genocidal intent of Zionism and the grassroots mobilizations remained in place because continuing to denounce this crime against humanity is essential to stop it.
