“The engineer Ruggiero Napolitano, former manager of the Municipality of Andria and beyond, has left us.
I spent several years with Him in the municipal offices, at the time in Via Carlo Troia.
He was a person of few words, very reserved, but very concrete. Our city owes several achievements to him, to his know-how. These are not words of circumstance, mine, but things that I think because I had the pleasure of sharing many days with Him, until the evening. I learned a lot from him, from his working method.
After having studied and analyzed the individual issues, he was not the type to be “afraid of signing”; on the contrary, with the utmost tranquility, he took on all the responsibilities of his role and proceeded.
Together with Him, I experienced one of the most complex, and also intense, periods of my existence and I tried to use His method in my subsequent work experiences.
I had become very fond of Him, and from the tone of the phone calls recently, I had understood that He too was fond of me, something which he had never let on. I thank you, Ruggiero, for everything you have done for Andria and for me“.
