Tarquinia – Juventus official fan club Centumcellae becomes Juventus official fun club Juventus pride.
Important news for the historic Civitavecchia club, recently awarded by the Juventus club as third in the world with 1,611 members.
The name change was announced yesterday by president Carlo Giummo during the party dedicated to members.

Around 400 people took part in the event which was held at the country chic Hotel Brizi.
Also present were Angelo Di Livlio, Michele Padovano, Fabrizio Ravanelli, Alessio Tacchinardi and Moreno Torricelli for a large representation of the team that won the Champions League in 1996 with Marcello Lippi on the bench.
“We had a dream – said club president Carlo Giummo -. We started growing it while returning from the unfortunate final in Berlin. We wanted to give everyone the opportunity to go to the stadium and we can say that we succeeded. We have become the third Juventus official fun club in the world and this makes us proud. From today another chapter in our history begins because the Juventus official fan club Centumcellae becomes Juventus official fun club Orgoglio bianconero”.

In the afternoon, again in the same location, Michele Padovano presented to the fans the book “Between the Champions League and Freedom” which contains his dramatic story which lasted 17 years.
“In three months of prison I saw many people pass there as innocents – explained Michele Padovano -. When I was asked to write a book I wasn’t very convinced, then speaking with my wife and son I decided to do it with the aim of leaving a testimony. The message is to never give up, like our beloved Juve, until the end. Among the people who helped me the most it is impossible not to mention Gianluca Vialli. In my legal case he always had a thought for me, he always called my family and I don’t forget this. He was a great friend to me.”
