Rotary is hosting them for two weeks
In recent days, 40 orphaned Ukrainian children, children of soldiers, were welcomed in Ravenna, who Rotary district 2072 is hosting for two weeks at the Euro Camp in Cesenatico.
An initiative made possible thanks to a fundraiser organized by the Rotary district in recent months.
“The testimonies of the boys, the two mothers and the parish priest who accompanied them were touching – they write from Rotary -, considering what they saw and suffered, even if they do not lack strength, courage and hope that the war will end soon”.
During the meeting at the Mar, the children had the opportunity to learn about and appreciate the mosaics for which Ravenna is famous and to see how the modern mosaic and its construction are achieved, through the different steps.
