The provincial coordinator Sergio Torromino expresses great satisfaction with the results achieved in the recent electoral round, both for the European and local elections in 2024. Forza Italia achieved an exceptional result in our province, distinguishing itself in numerous local areas.
Thus writes the provincial secretary of Forza Italia:
With almost 8,000 votes and approximately 19% of the preferences, Forza Italia not only does it confirm the growth trend compared to the 2021 regional elections (14%) and the 2022 political elections (15%), but with this extraordinary result the province of Crotone ranks second in Calabria, immediately after Reggio Calabria.
We cannot ignore the abstention figure, which highlights a persistent disaffection towards voting for Europe. However, in politics those who exercise the right to vote are right, always and in any case.
The province of Crotone responded positively to the appeals of the President of the Region and the regional coordinator, the Hon. Cannizzaro, as well as the President of the Province and mayor of Cirò Marina, Sergio Ferrari, who has shown considerable commitment and passion. It is no coincidence that one of the best results was recorded in Cirò Marina, with 40.5% of the votes.
In numerous municipalities in the province, Forza Italia is the most voted party, and where it is not, it still ranks among the top three, as in the capital where Forza Italia is the third party.
A further significant data concerns the preferences expressed in favor of the official candidates of the provincial party: the 4,453 preferences for the vice president of the Region Giusy Princi, who secured election to the European Parliament, the 2,836 preferences for the national leader Hon. Antonio Tajani and the 2,093 preferences for Fulvio Martusciello, head of delegation in Brussels. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the message transmitted by the party leaders and confirm the value of the good governance action of President Occhiuto and his council. Our sincere thanks go to all the administrators and managers elected in our municipalities.
We are working, sometimes with difficulty, to describe a different Calabria and overcome the delays accumulated over time. We are aware of the many challenges still to be faced, but at the same time proud of the progress made.
Forza Italia is and will always be the party of women and men who act, who do not look for excuses but for opportunitiesto. Recognizing success is difficult, but maintaining it is even harder.
