He refuses to give him a cigarette, he bites him and cuts off his ear: the attack on a patient at the Rimini hospital

A boy was arrested by the police at the «Infermi» hospital in Rimini for having punched, headbutted and bitten a man until he broke off part of his ear. The brutal attack, which occurred last June 13th around 5pm, saw the victim of a hospital patient who had refused to offer him a cigarette. The attacked man, who was in hospital following hospitalization and awaiting surgery, was heading to the hospital bar to have a coffee when he was approached by the young man who asked him for a cigarette. When he refused, the attacker reacted violently, hitting him with punches, headbutts and bites until he took off part of his left ear.

The person responsible has been arrested

The man also suffered wounds to his left eyebrow, abrasions to his head and arm, and was visibly bloody. A police officer on duty at the hospital police station intervened immediately after being alerted to the attack. Upon arrival, together with the security guards, he found the injured victim and the attacker trying to leave the structure as if nothing had happened. The man was also stopped thanks to the arrival of a police car and was subsequently taken to the police station. At the order of the Public Prosecutor, he was then transferred to Rimini prison. The young man will now have to answer for the charge of distorting the appearance of the person through permanent injuries to the face.
