Next Saturday from 4.30 pm at the Primavera Sports Center in the San Giovanni district in the city of Patti (in the province of Messina) the third edition of the Memorial ‘U Capusala will be held, sponsored by the Municipality of Patti and by the mayor Gianluca Bonsignore and by the municipal expert Francesco Nardi.
The initiative
The event has a social and sporting character and features “I Broncopatici”, an amateur and passionate group of 7-a-side football created to remember the figure of Carmelo D’Andrea, the nursing coordinator of the resuscitation who died prematurely.
In the 2024 edition the Bronchopaths, coordinated by Dr. Nino Genovese, anesthesiologist and pain therapist, will donate a cardiotocograph to the Gynecology and Obstetrics department, an excellent facility at the B. Romeo hospital in Patti directed by Dr. Klein.
To embellish the event there will be the participation of the All Stars Sicily, a team made up of the most eminent and well-known Sicilian personalities who operate in the socio-cultural, sporting and television fields, chaired by Luca Napoli. For years the All Strars have participated in charitable events throughout the country and it is gratifying that they have embraced the mission of Bronchopaths. For the occasion, Lautaro Martinez’s lookalike, Walter Zappalà (Mister Italia 2022), Aldo Palmeri of Men and Women will be present.
The match
The All Stars Sicily will meet with I Broncopatici in a 7-a-side football match directed by Emiliò Cucè, followed by the Pulcini from the Vivi Don Bosco football schools, Tindari district and Asd Gioiosa who will give life to a triangular match. On the same evening, the Fascia Laterale Award will be awarded in memory of Nunzio Pittari.
