CIVITAVECCHIA – The summer programming of the city Pro Loco began with great public participation with the Thursday afternoon initiative “Aperitif with the Author”.
A large audience attended with attention and curiosity the presentation of Maestro Claudio Gargiulli’s book “Il Romanzo della Musica”. The author, interviewed by President Maria Cristina Ciaffi, recounted episodes of his professional life and how the idea for his first book was born.
It was then the turn of Lady Chef Patrizia Manunza with the description of the special aperitif prepared for the occasion and how food, like music, is a universal glue that unites all peoples in an act of brotherhood.
All the guests also greatly appreciated the performances of Flavia Morra on the violin and Ludovica Centracchio on the cello, who played music by Bach, Mascagni and other famous authors.
At the end of the evening, the calendar of the Association’s next initiatives was announced by the President herself, the first appointment of which includes the traditional Notte di San Giovanni entitled “Ar Ghetto aricè la granne lumacata” on Sunday 23 June at 8pm, 30 at the Dolce & Salato restaurant.
Furthermore, on June 30th the program of the Terme Taurine will begin with the ninth edition of the initiative “Notes at sunset at the Terme Taurine” in connection with the European Music Festival, which will be followed by the usual theatrical review “From Myth to History” scheduled for the month of July
