Cesena-Toscano, agreement to terminate

There were no expected signatures, but since yesterday we have known at least the days in which the last episodes of the two soap operas that animated Cesena’s spring will be staged.

Toscano and the incentive to exodus

Yesterday the Juventus club and Mimmo Toscano reached an agreement across the board for the termination of the contract and booked an appointment in front of the employment consultant to put pen to paper. The signatures will be placed on Tuesday morning: at the same time as the termination of the contract, the papers will also be signed for the exodus incentive that Cesena will pay to the record-breaking coach and the return to Serie B. Considering the 43 percent tax rate, Cesena should pay Toscano 70 thousand euros gross (40 thousand net). Since the tax rate for the deputy Napoli and the athletic trainer Nocera is lower, Cesena will “save” something with them. But in the end, for the farewell to Toscano and his staff, Cesena will pay around 120 thousand euros in four instalments. Then they will all go to Catania together: a three-year contract is ready.

D’Aversa, maxi staff

Then on Wednesday, Cesena will announce the hiring of Roberto D’Aversa, who will officially become Juventus coach on 1st July, being under contract with Lecce until 30th June. It emerged yesterday that D’Aversa’s staff will be maxi, as there will be four trainers and not three as initially assumed: two athletic trainers, one for injury recovery and one for re-athleticisation. To them must be added the assistant coach Salvatore Sullo and the match analyst.

Melby coming soon

In a couple of weeks, or the last days of June or the beginning of July, Mike Melby will be in Cesena to sign all the documents to be filed with the Football Federation certifying his “ascension” to the role of majority shareholder. Very reserved, Melby made it known through his Italian consultant that he had not yet decided whether to hold a press conference or not.

Udoh outgoing

Gubbio did not redeem Udoh, who returns to Cesena and will immediately be put on the market: there is no shortage of requests for him. Cesena has returned the scorer of the promotion goal Edoardo Pierozzi to Fiorentina.
