Macron’s lips touching Giorgia Meloni’s hand at the Brindisi Castle and the prime minister reciprocating with a gaze that is like a blade of ice. And then electric golf carswith on board now the first Pontiff to ever take part in a G7, now the leader of the Italian right and hostess, in a silent coming and going on lawns that seem to have been painted on a computer.

Scurti and the prime minister
