The second day of the fourth seasonal round of the 2024 Superbike World Championship begins. The derivative riders are ready to take to the field for the last test session before the race, in which it is essential to find the right feeling to be competitive in the most important sessions .

Nicolò Bulega sets the fastest lap of FP3. The home rider brings out the full potential of his Ducati by stopping the clock in 1.33.114″. The rookie is just 11 thousandths ahead of his teammate and reigning champion Alvaro Bautista.

Remy Gardner squeezes the GRT team’s Yamaha to the max, bringing it to just 2 tenths of a second from the Italian’s time and remaining just a few thousandths ahead of Iannone and Razgatlioglu, the best BMW rider of the session.

The two are the only ones able to remain relatively close to the talented Spaniard.

Bahattin Sofuoglu, sixth, first of the MV Agusta riders, in fact, is more than a second away from the Ducati rider in first position and a few thousandths ahead of the best of the Supersport Challenge, Corsi, who races on Renzi Corse’s Ducati. The veteran of the intermediate classes snatches eighth place overall.

Galang Hendra Pratama achieves the best time of the morning. The Indonesian from ProGP NitiRacing clocked an excellent 1.48.655″. Yamaha leads Julio Garcia Gonzalez’s Kove by a handful of thousandths and Daniel Mogeda’s Team#109 Kawasaki by a tenth and a half.

The KTMs are still not competitive despite Buis managing to climb up to sixth place. The reigning champion takes only 2 and a half tenths from the Indonesian leader of the morning and a few thousandths from Gaggi, fifth in the standings and first of the Italians.
