“I am very happy that the Poviglio in Dialogo project has been positively received by the citizens of the country. The voters have positively evaluated an electoral campaign which I consider constructive. Full satisfaction for the attention that the citizens have paid to my team”. The new mayor of Poviglio, Filippo Ferrari, a teacher, rejoices with the electoral result. “It was a great act of trust from the citizens in us.”
But what was the first impact like on your debut day as mayor?
“For me it was a return to public administrative life, given that until 2014 I held the role of councilor for schools and culture, always here in Poviglio”.
So, after ten years, he returns to the city hall, this time as mayor. But what are the priorities, the interventions to be implemented immediately?
“We certainly intend to restore the activities of the local councils.”
But in the short term there will also be the issue of the final budget for 2023 to be resolved, which must be approved quickly, after the extension granted by the Prefecture of Reggio and which characterized the final phase of the last mandate amid bitter controversy.
