There are also two people resident in the province of Brescia among the 26 who were investigated by the Catania Prosecutor’s Office (nine others were arrested) as part of an operation to combat online child pornography.
According to what we learn, the investigations started from the analysis of the cell phone seized from a person who was arrested a few months ago on the same charges. In fact, groups dedicated to exchanging images and videos of sexual abuse against minors, some even of kindergarten age, had also been identified in messaging apps.
From there the postal police reached the frequenters who shared the illicit materials and nine (including a resident of the nearby province of Bergamo), for whom the charges are more serious, were arrested. One of them, in addition to thousands of child pornography files – according to what we learn – also had in his cloud a digital copy of the book “Guia del pedofilo” (pedophile’s guide, ed.).
