Student house, complaints about delays in work ready – Teramo

TERAMO. The Robin Hood association, chaired by Pasquale Di Ferdinando, once again points the finger at the construction times of the Student House. Taking inspiration from a sentence pronounced a few weeks ago by the president of the Company for the right to university studies (Adsu) Vincenzo Di Giacinto, which indicated 2026 (upon an extension granted by the university ministry) as the date for the completion of the works on the former headquarters of the rectorate in Viale Crucioli, Di Ferdinando highlights: «We are worried and amazed by the new timing recently indicated by the president of ADSU. In a press conference last August, in response to our previous complaint about delays, works that had not yet been completed were considered completed and a timetable was established (to be completed by 2025, ndc) which they are not respecting. Currently, as regards the work on the second lot intended for the student dormitory, we are still stuck at what was said ten months ago. They just did some excavation and put up some poles. What is the point of prolonging the time and giving untruthful communications? It is a scandalous and unworthy situation towards the city, the students and their families. Teramo”, underlines Di Ferdinando, “is the only provincial capital of Abruzzo without a student house. We must necessarily accelerate the timetable.” Furthermore, the president of Robin Hood announces: «We will present a detailed complaint on the matter to the Court of Auditors and since, after our requests for intervention, some local authorities did not intervene, we will also file complaints for omissions of official acts» .
