Istat data also rewards Molise: employment is growing

CAMPOBASSO. CISL Molise observes with satisfaction the data for the first quarter of 2024, which highlight a significant increase in permanent jobs. Labor input, measured in hours worked, showed an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous quarter and of 1.5% compared to the same period of 2023. This positive trend is reflected in the GDP, which recorded growth both in economic terms (+0.3%) both in trend terms (+0.7%).

These data are not just figures, but represent a sign of economic recovery and confidence in the future of work in Molise. The secretary of CISL Molise, Antonio D’Alessandro, comments: “The results obtained are the result of synergistic work between the social partners and the support of public policies. It is our intention to continue on this path, working together to ensure that the progress made is sustainable and brings benefits to all Molise workers.”

The data relating to employment in Molise for the first quarter of 2024 are as follows:

  • Employment rate: Has reached the 62.3%with an increase of 0.1 points compared to the previous quarter.
  • Unemployment rate: He got off at 6.9%with a decrease of 0.2 points.
  • Inactivity rate: Remains stable at 33.0%.
  • Get busy: They increased by 84,000 unitsequal to 0.4%.
  • Permanent employees: They have seen growth in 92,000 unitswith an increase of 0.6%.
  • Independent: They increased by 32,000 unitswith an increase of 0.6%.
