The adventure in the saddle of the “cougars” of the Bft Burzoni VO2 Team Pink, a Piacenza women’s junior team awaiting a double appointment over the weekend, starts again from Veneto. On Saturday 15 June the team directed by Stefano Peiretti and Vittorio Affaticati will participate in the team time trial in Soligo (Treviso), while on Sunday they will be at the start of the Open race in Martellago (Venice) which will start at 2pm with 125.4 kilometers to go.
“Saturday – he explains Peiretti – it will be the classic undulating circuit in the first part, then with a climb of about 1 and a half kilometers and finally a final stretch on a slight slope to descend. Sunday, however, will be one of the longest races of the year, with a completely flat route, very simple from a technical point of view with 19 laps of a very fast city-like circuit. Historically it is a race with a high average and with a lot of heat, we will be ready for any race finale.” NoIn the team time trial, the Bft Burzoni VO2 Team Pink will be represented by Linda Ferrari, Eleonora La Bella, Linda Sanarini and Marisol Dalla Pietà, who will be joined on Sunday by Asia Sgaravato, Francesca Sorgi and Giorgia Tagliavini.
On the horizon, the Italian challenges. “On Monday and Tuesday in Florence there will be the Italian track championships for fast specialties where we will be represented by Anita Baima, Camilla Bezzone (called up from Piedmont) and Letizia Tasciotti (Tuscany). On Wednesday, however, there will be the Italian time trial championship in Grosseto, with a completely flat 18 kilometer route: in the Italian challenge we will propose Anita Baima, Marisol Dalla Pietà, Linda Ferrari, Linda Sanarini, Eleonora La Bella and Asia Sgaravato”.
