There are many ways in which she has been presented and many roles covered in the long history of Rimini crime fiction by her daughter-in-law. Pierina Paganelli. It was she, on the morning of last October 4th, who find the body first of the 78-year-old elderly woman stabbed to death at the bottom of the stairs leading to the garages in Via del Ciclamino 31.

She was the first to fall under the cone of suspicion, only to be followed closely by her brother Loris and her neighbor. Louis Dassilva. Louis: neighbor, lover, suspect. The other protagonist of the mystery is the dark side of a love medal on which the prosecutor’s investigators have returned to plumb the ravines. The secret moments and places, in search of a possible motive behind Pierina’s murder.
Perhaps a passionate motive, which may have pushed Dassilva (the only one currently under investigation for the murder of the 78-year-old), to carry out what he is now accused of. How much of which, however, Manuela doesn’t hold him responsible.
“I certainly learned the news that Louis is now under investigation for Pierina’s murder. I was surprised to hear about it. I did not expect”. Manuela breaks the silence, more than a week after the news of the notice of investigation for aggravated voluntary manslaughter notified by Mobile to the 34-year-old Senegalese and lover of Bianchi. After the outburst of a few angry words addressed to the pressing reporters outside the apartment in Via del Ciclamino, Manuela takes a stand for the first time and reiterates a thought that has lasted eight months and has never changed: “It wasn’t Louis“. “I am certain – says Manuela – of his total non-involvement in the facts, having known him as a person for several years.” Known, perhaps loved, as the initials framed by hearts found in an isolated area ten minutes from via del Ciclamino would suggest and where, according to recent hypotheses, Louis and Manuela would have spent some of the moments of their extramarital affair.
“I think we’ve really gotten to the point of ridiculousness.” He cuts short the Manuela writing and adds: “We are at the point where the focus is exclusively on gossip and find absolutely false, invented news on alleged writings that I strongly disavow. All this, rather than focusing on the absolute truth. All this – says Bianchi – It disgusts me deeply.”

Instead, on the part of Bianchi herself (who appears in the proceedings as the party offended by the crime) the technical consultants appointed for the investigations are the general and former head of the Ris Luciano Garofano and the criminalist Davide Barzan.
