L’AQUILA – A project aimed at creating synergies and sharing knowledge for active management of forests and collective properties.

This was discussed yesterday during a workshop at the Faculty of Engineering, dedicated to the important opportunities offered by the active management of Abruzzo’s forests in the context of Ecosystem Services and Voluntary Carbon Credits.

‘Gesta – Eco-Sustainable Management of the Territory in Abruzzo’, this is the name of the project, promotes forms of active management of the forests, with particular attention to those falling within the collective properties of a vast mountain area of ​​Abruzzo which involves the Provinces of L’Aquila and Teramo, for an extension of over 14,000 hectares.
