The statement from the yellow-blue club on the acquisition of the “Bottagisio Sport Center”
Hellas Verona wins the acquisition of the “Bottagisio Sport Center” sports center at auction, a facility that was used by Chievo Verona for years. In the year of its rebirth, therefore, president Pellissier’s club will have to do without one of its ‘pieces of history’.
The official note issued by Hellas Verona – a club from the Venetian capital that plays in the top Italian league – after the auction which was held on the morning of Friday 14 June: “Hellas Verona FC announces that it has purchased the sports center following the auction held this morning ‘Bottagisio Sport Center’located in via Perloso in Verona“.
The statement continues to read: “The sports facility, which is located between the Adige and the Camuzzoni Canal, will be renovated by the Club, to better guarantee the daily activity of the yellow-blue youth sector and adapt it to the needs of the club“.
The sports centre, which in the past was managed by the “Chievo Verona Football&Fencing” company, now passes to the historical rival of the yellow-blue club. Hellas won the management of the sports center at auction for a figure that would exceed 3 million euros.

As is well known, thanks to the work of Sergio Pellissier – and not only – Chievo Verona has officially been reborn. The former Giallobù captain won the historic club’s trademark at auction. And so he transformed his Clivense, a club of which he was already president, into Chievo Verona.
The company is already working on the next sports season. He will start again from Serie D and the technical guidance of the team has already been entrusted to sporting director Sacchetto and coach Pontarollo. News, that of Chievo’s return, which has made the rounds in Italy given the rebirth of the club which played in Serie A for years, often achieving excellent results in the same championship.
