In Monza art is discovered… by touching it. No ban on touching, even just with a finger, the painting or sculpture. Far from it: in Monza art becomes 3D and to get to know it you have to touch. The appointment is on June 22nd at 4.30 pm in the headquarters of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (via Tonale 4) where the 3D tactile reproduction of the painting created by Attilio Rossi and entitled “Trust in human solidarity and trust in animals” will be inaugurated. loyal”.
Attilio Rossi is a well-known twentieth-century painter (born in Albairate in 1909 and died in Milan in 1994) who ranged from abstract art to hyperrealism, becoming one of the greatest experimenters of contemporary art. A professional life that has seen him exhibit in Italy and abroad, collecting numerous awards. An artist who not only left an important mark in the world of painting, but above all one who revolutionized the world of graphics in the 20th century.
His son Pablo thus decided to give the UICI of Monza one of the numerous works created by his father which shows a blind man walking through the streets of the city accompanied by his guide dog. A work reproduced in 3D which will also allow those with visual disabilities to enjoy the beauty of Rossi’s art. A work that will also be equipped with captions in Braille and enlarged characters. At the UICI headquarters it will be possible to admire both the painting and the 3D work. Pablo Rossi, the art historian Federica Lissandrello and the restorers will be present at the inauguration ceremony. At the end, refreshments will be provided.
