The first edition of the 2011 “Il Collese” tournament for rookies category at the “Didi Fontani” stadium, organized by Virtus Maremma in collaboration with the Polisportiva Roccastrada, culminates with the triumph of Pro Soccer Lab.
The spotlights came on on Thursday, after a month of challenges, splendid football and Fair Play, the first edition of the event ended in front of a beautiful audience, the consolation final for 3/4th place saw the team prevail Siena from Colligiana against Roselle with the result of 5 to 3.
For the decisive match to win the 1st “Il Collese” Trophy at 8.45pm the young players of Pro Soccer Lab took to the field against Grosseto which saw the former prevail after a beautiful, balanced and exciting match with the result of 2 to 1.
The qualifying phase ended with the following ranking of the teams that did not have access to the final phase of the Tournament: 8th Virtus Maremma, 7th Alberino, 6th Castiglionese and 5th Valdorcia.
At the awards ceremony, with the presence of the re-elected Mayor of the Municipality of Roccastrada and President of the Province of Grosseto Francesco Limatola, the organizational manager of the event Dr. Eleonora Orlandini proceeded to call teams and managers for the award ceremony, it was delivered by the president of Virtus Maremma Omar Bindi award to the referee of the match Riccardo Locantore, as best goalkeeper of the event, the young Nicandro Della Vedova of the Roselle club is awarded as the best goalkeeper of the event by Federico Accarigi, top scorer of the Niccolò Fiorenzani Tournament of the Colligiana award given by Alessio Bindi of Roccastrada Calcio, the The organizing committee awarded the young Chuka Francngona from Colligiana delivered by Giacomo Boschi as “player who stood out during the event”.
The cups are then awarded to the fourth classified, Roselle by Omar Bindi, the third classified. Colligiana, the prize presented by Stefania Pacciani for the Municipality of Roccastrada, the cups were awarded to the teams protagonists of the final, awarded by the Mayor Francesco Limatola, as the second classified Grosseto raises the trophy as the winner of the 1st edition of the “Il Collese” Tournament, the Pro Soccer Lab team.
